Andy McCawley serves as chief development officer of USPI, where she leads a team of development professionals and guides the Company’s strategy to expand and enhance its portfolio of ambulatory surgical facilities. She is also a member of Tenet Healthcare’s Diversity Council, which oversees diversity and inclusion initiatives across Tenet, USPI and Conifer Health Solutions primarily in the areas of recruitment and retention, training, communications and employee engagement.
Prior to her current role, Andy served as vice president of Tenet Healthcare’s corporate development team, where she was responsible for executing on a large volume of transactions while maintaining focus on strategic development and operational management. This work specifically included opportunities to acquire and divest various businesses, as well as the formation of other types of transactions like joint ventures and partnerships with health systems.
Prior to joining Tenet in 2015, Andy worked at Fortress Investment Group and served in various leadership roles for Fortress’ healthcare REIT. She also spent many years in private equity and start-ups, beginning her career at Morgan Stanley in its alternative investment partners group.
Andy received her bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Pennsylvania and is a CFA Charterholder.
